1963 - 1965
In 1963, the development of power semi-conductors and solid-state technology was beginning to have significant impact on the industrial drive business, particularly in the control of DC motors. Much of the product development was being done by newer and smaller companies without national sales forces. Mel Wolock and Gene Lott having established successful careers in the application of rotating equipment to industrial machines and process control lines recognized the need for a sales company staffed by experienced driven people to bring this new technology to the market place. Wolock & Lott was formed as a sales representative organization.
1965 - 2000
Shortly thereafter the present management of the company became involved and we became distributors of controls and associated products maintaining local inventories to better meet the needs of our customers. Service people and an engineering staff were added and we began to design and fabricate our own systems.
2000 - Present
Today our focus is to design, build, program, test and start-up state-of-the-art Control System for many different industries including extrusion, life sciences, waste water, converting, wire & cable and HVAC.
